Breaking out of the gritty North of England with an explosion of raw energy and 00s nostalgia, Chasing the Fall have made an impact with their own blend of alternative rock. Dangerously bold, yet emotionally grounded, Chasing the Fall are dropping a grenade on the scene. Their UK and US shows have left lasting imprints on their crowds, channeling pure emotion, delivering electric atmosphere, and blowing away with fierce storytelling. The band has been fortunate to attract the attention of major industry tastemakers like Kerrang and BBC Radio 1.

Voted Most Likely are a Midwest Emo/Post Emo 4-piece based out of the North East of England.

Originally starting out as a band heavily inspired by the likes of Modern Baseball, Mom Jeans and The Front Bottoms. The band have quickly begun to shape a unique sound that combines twinkly guitar riffs that pay homage to their favorite bands, bittersweet lyrics that contradict upbeat melodies, Travis Barker-inspired drum chops (never missing a stick trick) and punchy, melodic bass lines that force a foot tap from unassuming listeners.

The band stays true to their Midwest emo roots, whilst bringing a post emo twist. Wearing their hearts on their sleeves, their latest music takes inspiration from Hot Mulligan, Movements, The Story So Far, Free Throw, Ben Quad and more. Overall, resulting in a unique cocktail of peril, angst, regret and empowerment?

Listen, we’re going to go ahead and write this bio in first person. We’re an emo pop punk band from Sheffield, and we’re not pretending someone else has written this for us like some big-time Charlies.

At the start of 2024, we had zero gigs lined up and one track recorded. Since then, we’ve had multiple spins on BBC Radio 1, BBC Introducing and Idobi Radio, released EPs, and pushed past 25k monthly listeners on Spotify. We’ve dropped more tracks with the unmatched help of Steel City Studios (big up), promoted and played sold-out hometown gigs, and stepped onto stages we never thought we’d touch.

We’ve had Brendan from Wheatus react to our music, a collaboration with JJ from Hacktivist, a feature from Two Year Break, played the Hope & Anchor in London, and supported The Dangerous Summer in Sheffield.

Oh, and hearing our track as a pre-match song at Hillsborough Stadium for Sheffield Wednesday F.C.? Unreal.

For now, we’ll keep doing what we’re passionate about: this journey. Time’s too fast, so you may as well do what you love. x
